Photos at home or in the park are wonderful — but sometimes you may want to capture your family in a space that feels a little more special.
For families like yours, I also offer sessions at a rental studio. Crying, laughing, hugging each other — I photograph your family while cherishing the moments that are truly yours.
Sessions take place at a rental studio in Matsudo City. It is a bright, white space filled with natural light.
Available with the Standard Plan and the Shichi-Go-San & Coming-of-Age Plan.
* The studio is booked for the same length of time as your session.
* The studio fee is charged by the hour; any partial hour is rounded up.
(e.g. 60-minute session: ¥3,300 on weekdays / ¥5,500 on Saturdays & holidays)
(e.g. 90-minute session: 2 hours — ¥6,600 on weekdays / ¥11,000 on Saturdays & holidays)
* For the Long option of the Shichi-Go-San & Coming-of-Age Plan (120 minutes, 2 locations), the studio fee depends on how much time is spent in the studio. I will send you a quote when you book.
* The studio rental fee is charged at cost.
For session fees, please see the Standard Plan and the Shichi-Go-San & Coming-of-Age Plan.
"My child has a hard time in new places..."
"My child gets nervous in front of a camera."
"Will my child be okay with a studio session?"
For families with these worries, I offer a time to visit the studio together with me before your session.
On a separate day before the session, you'll spend about an hour at the studio so your child can gradually get used to the space, the camera, and me — at their own pace. There's no pressure to take photos. We'll play and chat together, creating a time where your child can feel, "Maybe this place is okay."
* Session fee and studio rental fee are charged separately.
* Dates and times are arranged based on studio availability.
It's an add-on for families who would like a studio session. I recommend it for families who want to take things at their child's pace — for example, children who find new places or new people difficult, or who feel anxious about having their photo taken.

"We'd love to have photos taken, but it might be hard for our child..." I've met many families who feel this way. A new environment, or time with a photographer they've never met, can be a source of worry for both children and their families.
As a mother raising a child with developmental differences myself, I understand these feelings closely. Photos are a precious record of who your child is and of the time your family spends together. I want as many families as possible to enjoy their session with peace of mind.
With that in mind, I created this option so that families and the photographer can prepare for the session together, at the child's own pace.
Of course. It's also available for children who are shy with new people or places, or who don't like cameras — whenever you feel a little worried. I recommend it for anyone who wants to respect their child's pace, with or without a diagnosis.
We'll play and chat together while your child gradually gets used to the studio and the camera. Rather than forcing any photos, I focus on creating a time where your child feels safe.
The visit is basically a time to prepare for the session day. To help your child get used to the camera, I may take a few photos of them spending time naturally in the studio if it seems helpful. If so, those photos will be delivered later together with the photos from your session.
Within the session time you booked, I'll go at your child's pace.
Absolutely. Including time for crying and taking breaks, I photograph while respecting your child's feelings.
That's perfectly fine. I photograph children while they play and move, capturing who they really are.
Yes, please do. Having a comforting item can help your child relax. If your child has particular preferences about toys or snacks, I'd like to discuss things like when to give them, and plan together with you.
Of course. I hope having your family there with you will help make it a time where your child feels safe.
I use a rental studio in Matsudo City. After you book, I'll send you the exact location and the flow of the day.
The Pre-Session Studio Visit is an add-on where you visit the studio on a separate day before your session and spend about an hour there. By getting used to the space, the camera, and the photographer before the session day, it helps ease any worries about a first studio session.
For Shichi-Go-San location sessions, I recommend the Long option, which starts with getting ready at home. Starting gradually in the comfort of your own home helps your child get used to the camera and the photographer more easily.
Getting dressed, natural moments with family, and the nervous or excited expressions of the day can all be captured in your familiar home. Including the process of your child gradually relaxing, I'll preserve their Shichi-Go-San day just as it is, as a precious memory.
Studio sessions for Shichi-Go-San are also available — please feel free to ask.
Rather than posing perfectly, what matters most to me is that each child can simply be themselves during the session.
